Real-time perforation efficiency measurements derived from acoustic friction analysis provide a robust method for evaluating the performance of various completion designs. By continuously monitoring these metrics, the specific effects of perforation orientation on fracture initiation can be accurately assessed during fracturing operations. This non-intrusive diagnostic approach allows for the direct comparison of different completion strategies, ultimately enabling operators to iteratively refine perforation designs, improve cluster efficiency, and ensure more uniform and effective stimulation treatments.
